First Aid & CPR
The First Aid course is designed to prepare the citizen responder to recognize an emergency and follow the "Assess, Alert, Attend" plan of action for emergency care. The course contents can be customized to meet the needs of many potential first aiders.
The goal of the basic level CPR program is to provide the knowledge and skills necessary in an emergency. Students will be able to recognize the emergency, call for help, and provide basic life support. The course also includes information on illness, accident, and injury prevention.
We teach to the standards of the American Safety and Health Institute (ASHI.) Each course includes a student workbook, four hour session consisting of lecture, demonstrations, and practice, and a certification card. The cost of one course is $40 or both may be taken for $50.
First Aid and CPR certifications must be renewed every 2 years.
