I'll be dipping my toe to test the waters of my first book signing. On Friday, October 16, from 2 PM to 4 PM, I'll be at Staples on North 98. Every month they highlight local small businesses and invite them to set up a table to promote their businesses. I had gone there to have some posters made of the cover art of The Extractor for use at future book signings/readings and, when they found out what the posters were for, they said they would love to have a local author and asked me if I would like to come. I'll have copies of my book for sale and will take cash, debit, and credit cards. (I finally got one of those Square Readers to take card sales.) On another note, the sequel to The Extractor, with a current working title of Resolute Storm, is well into the editing process. I'm into my fourth round of editorial changes (adding description, moving sections around to make more sense, grammar and sentence structure, etc). It has over 111,000 words or around 340 pages. ...
