Deep Diver with Decompression

The Deep Diver with Decompression course was developed to assist divers wishing to dive to depth of 130 feet. This class provides a greater understanding of dive planning, decompression theory, physics, physiology, gas dynamics, in water skills, gear configuration and self rescues. Completion of this course certifies you to dive to 130 feet and limits your decompression to 10 minutes.

What is included:

  • Academic sessions
  • Confined water sessions
  • Certification card and digital certification card

Prerequisites:

  • Certified Advanced Open Water Diver, Enriched Air Nitrox Diver, and Recreational Essentials Diver
  • Proof of  at least 20 logged dives

Student responsibilities:

  • Provides ALL scuba equipment
  • Pays site entry fees and boat fees
  • Purchases Student Manual/Workbook

Required equipment (beyond standard scuba gear):

  • Lift bag (minimum 50 pounds of lift)
  • Reel (minimum 140 feet of line)
  • Two separate regulator systems:
    • Dual outlet valve (H Valve) on primary cylinder with primary and alternate regulators OR standard valve on primary cylinder and another cylinder with a separate regulator.
  • We recommend having at least a  40cuft cylinder to accommodate two dives
