Helpful Hints for Rainbow River

Before the trip you will need to:

Pick up gear at Deep Six Divers Service, Inc. 

Shop hours are 9-6 Mon - Fri, 9-3 Sat, Closed Sunday.

Park Entrance Fee - $20/person Cash or Card    Boat Fee - $15/person Cash Only

Be sure to know your BC size, wetsuit size, and the amount of weight you will need.

Test all equipment at the shop to ensure it works properly. Check that the auto inflate mechanism works properly and that the tank is full.

Be sure to have a map and fully understand it before you leave.

On the trip please:

Plan on being in the parking lot at the latest 30 minutes before your dive time. Please allow extra time to fully assemble your gear.

Make sure you are parked in a designated parking spot. 

There are restrooms on site. If you need to use the restroom, please go before getting on the boat as there will not be any restrooms along the river. 

Anything that goes on the boat with you must also go in the water with you as nothing can be left on the boat.

Please stay near the dive leader with the dive flag to ensure your safety. 

Make sure to listen to the captain's briefing and make note of the exit point. Please be aware the water temperature is 72 degrees year round and plan your exposure suit accordingly. 

Concessions are available during park hours for your convenience. Wash all gear properly at the end of the day. Dust caps in the regulators, etc.
